and finally, homeward bound

I'd been so happy with all our free breakfasts that I had NO idea wat was in store for us at this ritzy hotel breakfast buffet. OMG! so glad this was the last one of the trip so we weren't spoiled at the beginning. There was Soooo much selection and warm stuff too! There was all these fancy foods!! Pear souffle, plum crepes, eggs & sausage, smoked salmon, fresh fruits...and that's just what i had room for in my tummy! soooooooo good. booey on my small stomach! :(

R & i had exactly 1 hr in JFK airport to claim our bags, go thru customs, re-check our bags and then get from the international to the domestic terminal. So needless to say, we had to run. And guess what? As it turns out, Delta had kept C's bag in Germany with me and sent my bag on with C a day earlier. Thank goodness R & i kinda had a feeling that this might happen (especially when it took so long to get our bags), so R was able to recognize C's bag and we just took it. But we still needed to majorly haul butt to make our flight. Which of course meant that we didn't have time to buy anything to eat (figuring we'd get something on the plane). But no....we rode on Song where nothing to eat is free (not even a bag of peanuts). So for the whole flight (prime dinner time!!!!!) i had 2 drinks (i made sure to get the thicker ones...like tomato juice and stuff...haha). And i slept (to ignore my stomach pangs and cuz the movies cost $$ too!). When i got home, i drove straight to milpitas to exchange luggages with C.
